Medical Students Train at Emory University in USA

The College of Medicine at King Khalid University concluded its 1439-40 AH summer exchange program at Emory University in the USA. The program falls under the purview of King Khalid University's International Summer Training Program, under the direction and consent of the Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, and supervised by King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy.

 

College of Medicine Dean, Prof. Suliman Mohammed Al-Humayed, explained that 15 students received summer training at the School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dean Al-Humayed commended the outstanding level achieved by the students during the program, noting that the university recognizes the importance of holding such programs to enhance student performance and the overall development of skills and experience in an international environment.

 

On his part, Dr. Ali Al-Suhail, who supervised the program, pointed out that the program also included a visit to Emory University's Faculty of Medicine and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which is considered the leading national public health institute of the United States.
